Take Your Space
Join us in Magic Wood, the granite boulder paradise of the Swiss Alps, for a climbing experience shaped around female presence and the simple pleasure of climbing with other women. This retreat brings together women who want to spend time on the boulders in an environment where female presence sets the tone. Here, women are encouraged to take their space, explore movement, and enjoy climbing without the usual chorus of unsolicited beta. The retreat also creates space to look more closely at the shared realities of women in climbing — the experiences many encounter while navigating climbing spaces and communities. It keeps the familiar dirtbag spirit of a climbing trip alive, with a few bougie touches along the way: good food, a wellness moment, quiet evenings under the stars, and movement and yoga sessions designed specifically for women to support the body between days outside. Women leave not only with memorable climbing experiences, but also with new connections and a deeper sense of what female climbing culture can feel like when women gather around the boulders. WHAT THIS RETREAT FOCUSES ON More and more climbers are women, and the culture around women in climbing is growing fast. This retreat recognizes that shift and creates space for female climbing culture to exist, evolve, and be explored on its own terms. Climbing & Coaching for Women Guided climbing sessions combine technical coaching with shared learning on the rock. The approach recognizes progression patterns many women encounter and supports confidence, experimentation, and skill development in a constructive environment. Take Your Space on the Rock Participants are encouraged to explore movement, try new approaches, and develop their climbing in a space that allows women to move with confidence, follow their own rhythm, and fully take their place on the rock. Movement & Yoga for Women Movement and yoga sessions are designed with the female body in mind, supporting strength, body awareness, and stability on the rock while offering tools climbers can carry into their own practice. Female Climbing Culture This retreat creates an environment where female presence shapes the experience. Climbing together with other women often creates a different atmosphere — one where encouragement, curiosity, and shared exploration come naturally. Shared Realities in Climbing The retreat also creates space to acknowledge and reflect on experiences many women encounter while navigating climbing spaces and communities. From the Coach: Coaching Focus During the 4-hour coaching workshop, participants work on footwork, body positioning, movement flow, climbing tactics, and confidence on harder moves. The focus is not only on climbing harder, but on climbing with more control, better decisions, and greater efficiency, while learning together in a strong and supportive group setting. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Participants spend several days immersed in the climbing environment of Magic Wood, one of the most iconic granite boulder areas in the Alps. Expect time on the boulders in a small group setting, climbing together with other women in an atmosphere that feels different from the usual pace and pressure of mixed climbing spaces. The retreat is not built around performance, but around shared experience, quality time on the rock, and the freedom to climb, connect, and enjoy the process. Throughout the retreat, women receive guidance and coaching on the rock, alongside movement and yoga sessions that support the body between climbing days. There is also space for reflection, conversation, and moments that go a little deeper into the shared realities many women encounter in climbing — without losing the lightness and joy of the retreat itself. Beyond the climbing, the experience is held by good food, a few bougie touches, glamping, wellness moments, and relaxed evenings together. The full program is shared with participants after booking, allowing the retreat to move with the group, the weather, and the climbing conditions.
